How Velia handles account, usage and billing data.
This policy explains what information Velia processes, why it is processed and how it is protected when you use the service.
1. Data we collect
Velia processes account information such as email address, name, authentication identifiers and plan status. It also processes service usage data including jobs, prompts, generated metadata, platform connection records, notification events and billing-related identifiers.
When you connect external platforms, Velia stores the minimum token and account metadata needed to maintain that connection and execute the actions you authorize.
2. Why we process data
We process data to authenticate users, operate the video generation workflow, queue and monitor jobs, track credits and subscriptions, secure the platform, investigate misuse and provide service communications.
Data may also be processed to maintain reliability, debug incidents, improve operational performance and satisfy legal, accounting or compliance obligations.
3. Service providers
Velia uses specialist infrastructure and software providers to deliver the service, including hosting, authentication, storage, queueing, email delivery, AI generation and payment operations.
Those providers receive only the information reasonably required for their part of the service. Payment details are handled by the active billing provider rather than stored directly by Velia.
4. Retention and security
Velia retains data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account history, enforce security controls and meet legal obligations. Temporary processing artifacts may be deleted earlier according to operational retention rules.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped credentials and encrypted token storage for sensitive platform connection material. No internet-facing system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so users should also protect their own credentials and connected accounts.
5. User rights and choices
You may update certain account data from the product interface. You may also disconnect connected platforms, cancel subscriptions through the billing flow and request account closure by contacting support@velia.com.tr.
Where applicable law grants additional privacy rights, Velia will handle those requests in accordance with that law and the technical state of the account.
6. Policy updates
This privacy policy may be updated as the product, providers or legal requirements evolve. The current version published on the website governs ongoing use of the service.
